Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the August 13, 2009 Meeting
Present: Mayor Driscoll, Raymond Vaillancourt and Thaddeus Buczko
Mayor Driscoll called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minute of the July 9, 2009 meeting. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and
voted unanimously.
Scholarships for FY2010 were distributed to students from the Angelico, Bean and Low funds the total expended was $6,639.00.
Year end interest earned on the Nichols Library and Read Library funds were distributed to the Salem Public Library. The paid interest total was $1,190.34.
The Salem Council on Aging requested Endicott funding to assist with medication reimbursement the total was $595.04. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the request. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
A late request for scholarship assistance was reviewed by the Board. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve $445.00 from the Beane fund for the request. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
Two requests were received for rental assistance. They will be forwarded to NSCAP for follow up.
The Brookhouse Home for Women submitted their request for approved large grant funding from the Endicott fund the total was $230.54. No motion was needed as it was previously approved.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM.
